No Mess Finger Painting

No Mess Finger Painting with Baby | Linzer Lane Blog

I couldn't wait for Leon to try finger painting out for the first time this summer, so I looked up some ideas online before we dove into the messiness of painting with little hands.

Luckily a brilliant solution popped up on many mom blogs - putting a piece of paper in a ziplock bag, and then sealing it with the paint already inside!
This is a genius way to introduce little ones to painting - they get the feel and concept of it, before trying out the 'real' thing.

Materials you will need:

Non-Toxic Finger Paints (I used the 10 color set from Crayola)
Heavy White Paper
Ziploc Bags

For our particular project, we made a birthday card for Leon's grandfather, but the ideas are limitless!

As always, if you try this out, please let me know in the comments below. Would love to see what your little ones come up with!
