I haven't posted on the blog in quite awhile because I was engaged in a big local art event last weekend called, ART 150 that took up the greater part of my last few months. ART 150 was a super unique happening, similar to an art fair, that incorporated over 20 artists that live and work in my Jersey City warehouse building.
Each of us had a designated space that we were responsible for decorating with our artwork. I opted for two triangular free-standing walls to display my art prints on, as well as some fun vinyl wall cut outs of Iggie the Hedgehog and Zoe the Cat.
As you an imagine, my dollhouse aka Zoe's Dreamhouse (which is often featured on this blog) - was the highlight of the weekend! Kids and adults alike loved taking 10 or 20 minutes each to explore all of the rooms.
The best part of the weekend was seeing family and friends, and having my niece from Austria available before the show to help hang art. Isn't she cute? ;)
Hopefully all 23 of us will be able to use the space again for another show this summer or fall. Stay tuned to the blog for more info!
