Happy Holidays Everyone! Just wanted to share this fun craft with you this week. I needed something to round out a Christmas scene I was creating, so I came up with this fairly easy cardboard gingerbread idea. To make your own gingerbread house you will need:
- thin cardboard or chipboard
- markers
- white paint & a paintbrush
- scissors
- tape
- festive stickers
Bend a long, rectangular shaped piece of cardboard into thirds as shown above. Add a door by cutting out a small rectangle. Cut out a triangle piece for the roof.
Tape the triangle to the middle of the house shape (making sure that the tape does not show on the exterior).
Add details with markers and stickers. White paint can be added at the end for snow!
Display your gingerbread house within a wintry scene. The glass house pictured above is from IKEA, and is a great, affordable way to display miniatures year round!
Happy Making!
