I was pretty much giddy after my husband gifted me this miniature version of the Sprinkles bake shop as my anniversary gift last week. I had been stalking this item for months after my friend pointed it in the cupcake case at our local Sprinkle's shop...
Isn't it cute that they gift wrap the item like a box of cupcakes after you buy it... ;)
Here's the box - pretty much showing you everything that's inside.
Inside of the box you will find a miniature Sprinkles Bake Shop to assemble. There are two walls and a floor, a counter top, a table and chair, as well as adorable accessories such as cupcakes, coffee, cupcake batter and branded T-shirt. Everything is supposed to snap together easily, and there are stickers to add to just about everything.
This toy is intended for kids 7 and above, and I would highly recommend an adult's help putting it together, since there are quite a few intricate items to assemble before your bakery is complete.
Additional accessories are available for purchase like this blue cake display and cupcakes.
It took me about two hours to get everything perfect - such as folding the little boxes, and getting the stickers just right.
The only thing that didn't work out too well were the stickers for the coffee cups (I ended up just taking them off since they didn't stick) and the chair legs, which I ended up hot gluing because they didn't click into place.
Altogether, you can't beat this amazing deal. For around $15, you too can own this simply adorable mini bake shop. It's kind of ironic that I'm displaying it next to Iggie's Gingerbread, since the cupcake shop mentioned in the book is what almost ruined Iggie's business! :)
