A lot has happened since I posted our last craft on the Linzer Lane Blog! All of us are now in our homes living a different reality than we ever dreamed possible... my way of dealing with things is to continue to make art daily, and craft with Leon whenever possible. We made Easter cards this week, here’s how we created them:
Draw a simple design with black permanent marker on a blank greeting card. I chose an egg shape with ears ;) Add a cute greeting like ‘Hoppy Easter’ on the bottom.
If your child is very young, have them use fingers to make tiny ‘confetti’ dots all over the card. If they are a little older use Q-tips or a small paint brush. My mom bought me a colorful acrylic set that worked perfectly, but any non-toxic paint will do.
That’s it! Super simple and cute too!
I’ve been working hard to upload all the printable items I’ve ever created into my online shop. They are all designed to keep your kids creatively entertained during this time at home. Use code LINZER at checkout for 15% off!
